Save the Date: Church Rummage Sale June 8th 10am-3pm
Faye Powell is organizing a church-wide rummage sale to develop an emergency fund to serve our unhoused neighbors, and she needs your help. As you do your spring cleaning, set aside items that are clean and in good working condition: clothing for kids and adults, toys and games, sports equipment, housewares, home decor, costume jewelry, garden tools, etc. As the date gets closer, we will need you to fairly price your items and bring them to the church. Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper: Tuesday February 13th 5-6:30pm
Lent is right around the corner, but we still have time for one more party. St. Philip has a long-standing tradition of holding a fun feast the night before Ash Wednesday, and this year we’re returning to pancakes. As always, everyone is invited whether they are parishioners or just friends and neighbors. We’ll be serving from 5-6:30pm If you can help set up or clean up, please reach out to Bernadine.
Deacon’s Dining Hall Closed in December and January
The Deacon’s Dining Hall will not be serving Saturday Lunch in December and January as the program makes a few necessary changes. They will return to serving take-out lunch to the community on February 17th at 11am.

Good Grief: Processing Trauma Together
The church is one of the few places in our current world that can hold grief compassionately and gracefully, feeling and grieving with one another just as Jesus did when his friend Lazarus died. Come walk the journey of grief together supported by friends from Episcopal faith-communities across the Portland Metro area, and guided by a professional grief counselor. Volunteers needed for Swing Night
Our first Swing Dance Night is coming up on September 28th from 5-9pm. We could use some volunteers to set up at 4pm and especially to clean up afterwards. Albina Library Construction Update: Tree Removal (Completed)
UPDATE: The tree removal was completed on Monday, September 11. The parking lot will be available as usual beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12, The Multnomah County Library construction project is right on schedule. They are planning to complete the demo portion of the project next week with the removal of the three large trees between the parking lots. Swing Dance Night at St. Philip
Swing Dance Night at St. Philip September 28th 5-7:30pm Join us for an evening of music and fellowship on Thursday, September 28th. At 5pm we will enjoy the sounds of Old Time Music trio Ellis and Wallace, followed by a swing dance lesson by Rachel Lidskog-Kim of Dance with Joy dance studio. Finally, we’ll show off those new dance moves to the music of the Carroll Raaum Orchestra from 6pm-7:30. All are welcome; invite your friends and family.
Eucharist Service changed to 9:00am this Sunday, July 16 for Portland Pride Parade
The diocese is inviting all Episcopalians to march in the Portland Pride Parade on July 16th. If you are planning on attending, please register! Tomorrow: Community Job and Resource Fair at Dawson Park 11am-2pm

Community: Eliot Parking Task Force Open House
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is considering a permit program for the Eliot Neighborhood that would make it easier for residents to find parking when there are large events nearby.
