Good Grief: Processing Trauma Together

Good Grief: Processing Trauma Together

The church is one of the few places in our current world that can hold grief compassionately and gracefully, feeling and grieving with one another just as Jesus did when his friend Lazarus died. Come walk the journey of grief together supported by friends from Episcopal faith-communities across the Portland Metro area, and guided by a professional grief counselor. We will meet twice a month, once in person and once by Zoom, over four months. Each four-month session will begin and end with a liturgy to set aside this time to grieve together. This group is open to anyone who would like to join, and is offered free of charge, supported by the Episcopal Church in Western Oregon.

The next session will be held on zoom and at St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee from 6-7:30pm on the following dates:

  • 2nd Tuesdays in person: 11/14, 12/12, 1/9
  • 4th Tuesdays on Zoom: 10/24, 11/28, 12/26 (maybe), 1/23
