I apologize for originally publishing the incorrect address for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church where St. Philip parishioners have been invited to worship on December 3rd at 10:30am. The CORRECT address for St. Andrew’s is 7600 N Hereford Ave, Portland (Thank you to all of you who pointed out this error.)
The Deacon’s Dining Hall will not be serving Saturday Lunch in December and January as the program makes a few necessary changes. They will return to serving take-out lunch to the community on February 17th at 11am.
The Rev’d Jennifer Cresswell and the parishioners of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church have invited us to join them on December 3rd at 10:30am to celebrate the first Sunday of Advent. Please join us on Sunday, November 26th for Rev’d Maria’s last service at St. Philip. Let’s fill the church to show our love and appreciation for all she has done during her time here. Rev. Maria McDowell has received and accepted a call to serve as Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Tacoma, Washington. Her last Sunday Eucharist at St. Philip will be November 26th, Christ the King/Thanksgiving.
