Weather Update: St Philip CLOSED on Sunday, January 14

The Wardens have decided that we will not be holding church service this Sunday, January 14th due to the winter storm. Extremely cold temperatures, high winds, and icy roads make it unsafe to travel. Please stay home and stay safe.

The Vestry meeting scheduled for this Sunday will be held next week after the parish conversation about the 2024 budget with the vestry and our bookkeeper.

While many area churches have also cancelled Sunday services this week, there are some online service options. We encourage you to check out one of these. We will be back in-person next week.

Mtr Alcena recommends the services streamed from The National Cathedral in Washington, DC. You can find them at https://www.youtube.com/@wncathedral/streams

You can watch the 10am service at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral on YouTube and Facebook https://www.trinity-episcopal.org/services

Grace Episcopal in Portland will also be streaming their service https://grace-memorial.org/

St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukie will be streaming or on Zoom. Check out their website for specifics. stjte.org

Note: The Church will remain closed on Monday, January 15th in recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
