On Saturday, September 10th at 5pm, St. Philip with host the Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and Oregon Episcopalians of color for Evening Prayer and conversation. All persons-of-color in the diocese are invited to attend.
The event is intended to center the voices and questions of people of color. We invite our white allies in attendance to listen.
We will open the doors at 4:30pm with appetizers ready, begin Evening Prayer around 5:00, and follow up with a facilitated conversation with the bishop. We will end with a blessing of the parking lot and The Alcena, and close the church at 7:30.

The following day, Sunday, September 11th, Presiding Bishop Curry will be preaching at Trinity Cathedral. If you would like to hear him preach, you are invited to attend their 10am service at 147 NW 19th Avenue.
